Newsroom, November 15, 2025: The National Democratic Alliance clinched a resounding victory in Bihar's assembly elections, capturing 202 of 243 seats to propel Chief Minister Nitish Kumar into his 10th term, with BJP taking 89 and JD(U) 85, while allies like LJP(RV) added 23.
The Mahagathbandhan, anchored by RJD's 75 seats, limped to 41, as Tejashwi Yadav's caste survey and job promises failed to sway voters favouring NDA's welfare schemes like women's stipends and free electricity. Turnout at 62% edged up from 2020, but NDA's rural consolidation proved decisive, defying tighter exit polls.
