Amaravati, November 13, 2025: The investigation into the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams ghee adulteration case has gained momentum with former additional executive officer Dharma Reddy cooperating fully as a witness, revealing critical information about how decisions were influenced during YV Subbareddy's tenure as board chairman.
Reddy's testimony, given over two days of questioning, points to pressure from Subbareddy and then executive officer Anil Kumar Singhal to source substandard supplies, marking the first political angle with the arrest of Subbareddy's aide Appanna.
The Special Investigation Team also grilled Bholebaba Dairy directors Vipin Jain and Paamil Jain, uncovering a network that compromised the purity of temple offerings.The disclosures could lead to charges against high-level officials, highlighting lapses in procurement oversight.
