Newsroom, November 13, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board has revised the schedule for the tri-nation T20I series with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, moving all games to Rawalpindi after a suicide bombing in Islamabad that killed 12 and raised concerns among the visiting teams.
The opener, originally set for November 17 in Lahore, now starts on November 18 in Rawalpindi, with the second match delayed to November 20 and the remaining two ODIs shifted to Friday and Sunday there. The final, previously November 29 in Lahore, stays in Rawalpindi.
The changes, agreed with Sri Lanka Cricket and Zimbabwe Cricket, prioritize player welfare, with Sri Lankan manager Mahinda Halangoda confirming no departures. PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi thanked the teams for their cooperation, as Zimbabwe arrived under tight security. The series, prep for the 2026 T20 World Cup, underscores ongoing challenges in hosting amid regional tensions.
