Newsroom, November 13, 2025: The Telangana government is advancing a mono rail system to ease severe congestion in Hyderabad's IT hubs, where peak-hour delays stretch to 1-2 hours for professionals.

The proposal, under a public-private partnership, will create elevated tracks for seamless last-mile connectivity, complemented by skywalks funded through corporate social responsibility contributions.

Approvals from building owners are underway, with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expected to greenlight the initiative soon, promising quicker relief for daily commuters.

The project addresses the growing strain on roads like Gachibowli and Hitec City, potentially cutting travel times by 40%.
