Newsroom, November 11, 2025: A Hyundai i20 car in New Delhi near the Red Fort metro station was blasted, killing 9 people and 24 people were severely injured. The explosion led to a high alert across the city, and the owner of the car, identified as Md salman, was detained.

Md Salman stated that the car was sold to someone in He had sold it to a person in Okhla named Devendra. Later, it was sold again to someone else in Ambala.

Home Minister Amit Shah reached the site with Delhi cops. He also visited the victims of the blast who were admitted to the hospital, and later, arranged a meeting with the Delhi cops.

The reason for the car blast is still unknown. An investigation to determine the reason is taking place.
