Newsroom, November 09, 2025: India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, visited Melbourne, Australia, as part of his official engagement to strengthen bilateral economic ties.
During the visit, Minister Goyal held bilateral discussions with Australia’s Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator Don Farrell, and Minister for Skills and Training, Andrew Giles.
The talks focused on maximising the potential of the India–Australia Economic Partnership, with emphasis on advancing an ambitious and balanced Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) to boost trade and collaboration between the two nations.
