Newsroom, November 09, 2025: India's Ambassador to the U.S., Vinay Mohan Kwatra, held a virtual discussion with Intel CEO Lip Bu Tan on November 8 to explore Intel's strategies for expanding in India, aligning them with the government's India Semiconductor Mission and IndiaAI program.

The talks, ahead of the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi on February 19-20, the first major global AI event in the Global South, aim to boost domestic capabilities in chip design and artificial intelligence, targeting investments in manufacturing and talent development.

Kwatra highlighted the coordination as key to fostering India's tech ecosystem. Tan, a Singapore-born leader, emphasised the potential for collaborative innovation.
