Newsroom, November 08, 2025: The All India Football Federation received zero bids for its tender seeking a long-term commercial collaborator to oversee the Indian Super League's production, promotion, and broadcasting, despite issuing the call in mid-October and addressing queries from interested parties by late that month.

The 15-year arrangement, valued at an annual ₹37.5 crore commitment, followed the Supreme Court's endorsement of AIFF's updated structure in September, but the steep financial and operational demands appear to have discouraged applicants.

With the existing agreement with Football Sports Development Limited, a Reliance Industries entity, set to conclude in December, the league's operational roadmap hangs in the balance. AIFF's review panel, headed by retired Justice L.N. Rao and including president Kalyan Chaubey, is due to convene shortly to weigh options and outline contingency plans for the flagship competition.
