ICC Chair Jay Shah extended warm congratulations to India for securing the nod to host the 2030 Centenary Commonwealth Games in Ahmedabad, describing the development as a pivotal achievement in the nation's sporting journey. The Commonwealth Sport Executive Board endorsed the proposal on Wednesday, advancing India's application for the event, marking a century of the games.

In a post on X, Shah wrote: "Many congratulations to India on the Commonwealth Association’s approval of India’s bid to host the #CommonwealthGames 2030 in Ahmedabad!
