Wipro's Q2 profit edges up 1% to Rs 3,246 crore

Amaravati, October 16, 2025:

Wipro reported a slight uptick in net profit for the second quarter of fiscal 2025, reaching Rs 3,246 crore, a 1.15% increase from Rs 3,209 crore the previous year, while revenue grew 2%, reflecting resilient demand in consulting and digital services despite macroeconomic headwinds.

The Bengaluru-based giant's performance underscores a stabilising sector, with large deals offsetting currency fluctuations. The figures align with peers like TCS, hinting at a soft landing for India's IT exports amid U.S. rate cuts.
